①Heat resistance and flame retardant epoxy resin for semiconductors

We develop epoxy resins for encapsulants that are used in electronic parts. Our special epoxy resins are characterized by superb heat resistance, low melt viscosity, and low water absorptivity, and they are used as de-facto standard encapsulants. We develop new epoxy resins characterized by excellent flame resistance, etc. in order to meet ever-higher required characteristics.

②Polymerized toner, High performance fine particles, etc.

We are researching and developing high-functional materials that contribute to a low-carbon community.

③Surface functionalization technologies

We create new technologies for the electronics and life science fields by applying surface microfabrication technology and functional material technology.

④Color Resist for Liquid Crystal Displays

These resist materials enable LCDs to achieve higher performance (higher brightness, wider color gamut, higher resolution, etc.) and lower cost (structural modification, simplified process, etc.).
Mitsubishi Chemical proposes products best suited to customers' application conditions by fully utilizing the materials, formulation, and evaluation technologies that we have cultivated since the early days of LCDs.

⑤Materials for next-generation displays

As a key material for next-generation displays that are expected to develop in the future, we make full use of innovative materials and technologies to support a variety of cutting-edge methods, including coating-type OLED. We provide optimal solutions for light-emitting element materials, bank resist materials, etc.
