Biodegradable PolymerBioPBS™
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation- Language
Polybutylene succinate (PBS) is the biodegradable plastic that decomposes into water and carbon dioxide with the microorganism under the soil. PBS has a high heat resistance among the general biodegradablility resin, and PBS has high compatibility with a fiber. Using these goodness, it's possible to achieve the performance which can't be shown by itself as the compound with other resin and material.duct life cycle.

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation(MCC) established PTT MCC Biochem
Company Limited that is a 50-50 joint venture with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited [PTTGC, Head office; Bangkok, Thailand]
And We license the high process technology which was grown by our petrochemical production and lots of the patent crowd which possesses both at
home and abroad to PTT MCC Biochem company.
PTT MCC Biochem company produces and sells bio-based PBS (BioPBS™) which consists of an succinic acid derived from natural resources and the 1,4-butanediol since 2017 years.
Mitsubishi Chemical is also doing the development, the production and the sale of the compound which give a new function to BioPBS™using excellent compatibility and biodegradablility of BioPBS™.
Applications
