Basic Policy

Mitsubishi Chemical carries out Responsible Care (RC) activities,1 which are self-initiated activities in the chemical industry for ensuring environmental conservation, health and safety. In line with the Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group Charter of Corporate Behavior[Open in a new window] and with the aim of realizing KAITEKI, we implement RC activities based on the five pillars of process safety and disaster prevention, occupational safety and health, environmental conservation, chemical and product safety, and logistics safety.

These activities also encompass the publishing of the results of such efforts and dialogue and communication with society.
