Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation will increase production capacity for high-performance carbon fibers at its Tokai Plant in Aichi, Japan, and Sacramento Plant in the United States to meet growing global demand.
The expansion will be implemented in stages from 2025 to 2027, nearly doubling current capacity by optimizing existing facilities.
