That’s just what students from Toyama Kogyo High School did when they envisioned this beautiful transparent acrylic Chashitsu as part of their graduation artwork. Choosing SHINKOLITE™ for its wonderful glossy appearance, super strength and optimum clarity, their aim was a radically new interpretation of a Chashitsu - one that enabled participants to enjoy the view as well as the tea ceremony itself. This groundbreaking design features a complex structure of acrylic surfaces, held together without the use of screw or glue fixing that refracts light to create an air of mystique. Surprising and wholly beautiful.
