DJSI World Index S&P Global
An index made up of stocks, selected by S&P Global, and includes companies that demonstrate excellent sustainability, based on economic, environmental, and social aspects. MCG has been selected as a constituent in the DJSI World Index since 2017. (As of February 2024)
DJSI Asia Pacific Index S&P Global
MCG has been selected as a constituent in the DJSI Asia Pacific Index for over 10 consecutive years. (As of February 2024)
S&P The Sustainability Yearbook - 2024 Rankings S&P Global
S&P Global evaluates the sustainability of companies around the world in three (i.e., economy, environment, and society) aspects and publishes companies in each sector with excellent evaluation results in the Sustainability Yearbook. In 2024, over 9,400 of the world’s leading companies from 62 different industries were evaluated, and 759 companies with particularly high scores in their respective industries were included and recognized in the Sustainability Yearbook. 30 companies from the Chemical Sector, including our company, were listed.
FTSE4Good Index Series FTSE Russell
An index by FTSE Russell consisting of companies that meet global standards related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG). MCG has been selected as a constituent since 2004. (As of February 2023)
FTSE Blossom Japan Index FTSE Russell
An index consisting of Japanese companies selected from among components of FTSE4Good for having met high standards in terms of clarity and transparency relating to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. MCG has been selected as a constituent since 2017. (As of February 2023)
FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index FTSE Russell
An index by FTSE Russell relatively reflecting the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. It is intended to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy. MCG has been selected as a constituent from 2022. (As of February 2023)
MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index MSCI
MCG is selected in the MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, an index consisting of companies with high ESG evaluations in each industry from among the constituents of the MSCI Japan IMI Index. (As of February 2024)
MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN) MSCI
MCG is selected in the MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index, an index consisting of companies having excelled in gender diversity in each industry from among the constituents of the MCSI Japan IMI Index. (As of February 2024)

CDP
CDP is an international NGO that assesses companies‘ environmental initiatives based on requests from global investors. MCG has received an A- rating for both ’Climate Change’ and ‘Water Security’. (As of February 2024)
EcoVadis
EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings that aims to achieve corporate sustainability management through the supply chain by contributing to the improvement of environmental and social practices. Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and its group companies have received a 'Bronze' rating, which corresponding to the top 35% level. (As of April 2024)
