Pioneering double-glazing company, Magnetite (Australia) Pty Ltd chose SHINKOLITE™ MR for The Money Box project, Sydney. An important part of the brief to renovate Sydney’s iconic Commonwealth Bank building was to ensure all of its 363 windows were built to last. Protecting the building’s heritage, as well as noise reduction, insulation and scratch resistance were important too. Magnetite custom-manufactured all inside windows exclusively from scratch resistant 10mm SHINKOLITE™ MR200W imported especially for the project for which the company won the 2015 AWA Design Award. Workers based at The Money Box now enjoy the view through crystal clear SHINKOLITE™ without it being spoilt by scratches.
