Thinner fibers made by split process
These are composite fibers of acrylic and acetate made by special technology. These split finely by external pressure in the papermaking process.
C651 splits by external pressure of water jetting in the papermaking process. The finest part after the split is about φ0.3μm. You can mix C651 with other fibers without pretreatment in using it.
C653 splits by external pressure of Beater or Refiner in the pretreatment process. The finest part after the split reaches about φ0.3μm.The fineness can be adjusted via the pretreatment time.
- 10L Niagara Beater
- Slurry concentration: 0.5%
Put 167g of C653 into 12L of water. Stir it without weights for 5 minutes to disperse the fibers. And start beating after adding weights.
