This material is made from composite fibers produced using a combination of pulp-based, semi-synthetic fibers and natural fibers. For this reason, it has both excellent functionality and supple feel. The natural fibers give this material its supple and comfortable feeling on the skin. Pulp is the raw material used in this material, and so it is biodegradable. This material is used in clothing, material, and medical applications.

Because of its excellent moisture-absorbing properties and random structure of the fiber surfaces, this material demonstrates excellent diffusive properties regarding the absorbed moisture. The result is a material with excellent quick-drying properties. These excellent moisture-absorbing properties keep clothes comfortable.
Fibers have unique cross sections which scatters light. This and the low refractive index gives the material an elegant shine similar to silk. This material is also soft, supple, and comforting to the skin due to the relatively low specific gravity and low Young's modulus.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification

Lynda is also certified as a class 1 product, which is the strictest class in the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
* The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an international standard that determines limit values for substances harmful to humans to define the safety of textile products.

Other variations include the Kessler product with deodorizing properties and the Lynda FR product with flame-retardant properties.
