New unit in Singapore will strengthen MRC water-project operations

Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd. (“MRC”) has established a local subsidiary MRC Rensui Asia Pte. Ltd. (“MRC Rensui Asia”) in the WaterHub* complex owned by PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, as part of efforts to strengthen its participation in water treatment projects around the world.  
 
Through MRC Rensui Asia, MRC accesses the industry expertise clustered in WaterHub to gather information and form business networks, enabling it to enhance its marketing activities in Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. MRC Rensui Asia is also to expedite its business activities by cooperation with its Group company Nippon Rensui Co., Ltd. in these regions.  
 
*WaterHub is a research facility set up in 2004 by the Singapore government, bringing together researchers, business owners, companies, and other entities in the water industry for the purposes of water technology development, education and enabling networking between participating companies and other organizations.
