In April, Mitsubishi Plastics, Inc. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; president: Hiroshi Yoshida) will mark the second year of its post-merger start by launching a new corporate PR campaign. The campaign will feature a change to its old motto, "The New Mitsubishi Plastics Appears!" to " Mitsubishi Plastics is a company with a lot of Plus.” The campaign will also use a PR mascot, "Plus-kun."
Since its merger in April of last year, Mitsubishi Plastics handles a wide range of functional materials, from high-functionality films to carbon fiber (composites), aluminum alloys, and metal-plastic composites. MPI offers solutions with plus factors to resolve its customers' challenges, and developing new products that add functionality. In keeping with the new corporate vision, "MPI Group goes forward to become a technology-oriented company where we can be an excellent partner of our customers through an optimized solution."
The new motto, " Mitsubishi Plastics is a company with a lot of Plus.” is a strong expression of its attitude of offering its customers and society something extra. The new “Plus-kun" mascot will also make the corporate PR campaign more cheerful and positive as well as create a friendlier corporate image with its customers and society.
Although the business enviroment for MPI remains severe amid the economic recession that began last year, MPI is aiming to promote understanding of its broad range of businesses, and create a friendlier, more trusted corporate image by strengthening its communication with its customers and society through its new motto and mascot.
