A detailed inspection has been completed of the naphtha cracker in Mizushima (Kurashiki, Okayama) of Asahi Kasei Mitsubishi Chemical Ethylene Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Makoto Sakamoto), a joint venture between Asahi Kasei Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideki Kobori) and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Ishizuka), which was suspended on July 27, 2016, and the facility is now scheduled to restart on August 15, 2016.
