Mitsubishi Chemical to Establish its Performance Polymer Business Network
in Turkey

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Ishizuka) today announced the establishment of its new performance polymer business network in Turkey. The company made the decision with an eye toward accelerating sales in Turkey and surrounding countries that are showing significant growth in automobile production and other industries. With this decision in mind, MCC's wholly owned subsidiary, MCPP Germany GmbH*1, opened the MCPP Turkey Liaison Office on April 1.
Taking advantage of its geographical location linking the major markets of Europe and the Middle East, the MCPP Turkey Liaison Office will develop marketing activities to help expand sales in fast-growing markets including Turkey's automobile industry and other manufacturing sectors. The office will also handle marketing activities in West Asia and other neighboring areas and service the existing customer base in Turkey. With the establishment of MCPP's Turkey Liaison Office, MCC has 23 performance polymer business bases in 14 countries.
