Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC; Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masayuki Waga) has suspended operations of the solid epoxy resin manufacturing facility at the Mie Plant due to partial damage to the facility as announced on August 30, 2021. MCC hereby announces that it has been formulating the recovery plan for the facility with the outlook of the gradual resumption of production starting from early January 2022.

    We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to all concerned. We will continue to make every effort to restore the facility.
