Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masayuki Waga) hereby announces that on October 1, 2021 it will respectively integrate Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec Co., Ltd. (MCIT; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuichi Fukui), a group company which conducts the manufacturing and sales of civil engineering/construction materials, and RYOJU CORPORATION (Ryoju; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Takuya Unedaya), a group company possessing trading company functions.


MCC aims to strengthen its civil engineering/construction materials business and trading firm functions through these series of measures. Going forward, MCC also plans to contribute to society by proposing to customers diverse solutions that leverage collective capabilities of the group.


1. Integrate the civil engineering/construction materials businesses

(1) Subsidiaries subject to integration

    ・MCIT

    ・The construction materials-related business of RYOKO Co., Ltd.


(2) Purpose of this integration

    MCC aims to further strengthen its proposal capabilities by integrating related businesses in MCIT, which was launched on April 1, 2020 to consolidate the civil engineering/construction materials businesses within the MCC Group, and to strengthen and develop said business.

        Manufacturing, processing and sales of processed resin plate products, aluminum composite materials, plastic film-laminated steel sheets, synthetic resin products for housing materials, plates, extruded products, urethane materials, hot/cold tubing materials, cooling towers, water tanks, civil engineering materials, logistics materials, carbon fiber sheets, chemical materials etc., and peripheral products, and planning, design, machine assembly, supervision, construction, inspections, diagnosis and repairs of processed resin plate products, water tanks and cooling towers and associated civil engineering and construction work


2. Integration of Trading Firm Functions

    MCC plans to strengthen its collective capabilities and improve its presence among customers as the MCC Group mainly by integrating subsidiaries with trading firm function, expanding the scope of products handled, and sharing information and enhancing sales efficiency.

        Sales of various chemical products, plastic raw materials and materials, various plastic products, carbon products, industrial materials and construction materials, and finishing work for interiors (noise-absorption) and interiors/exteriors (hardware), etc.
